DA Tribute 1

'With the battle reaching its end, I launch myself into the fray, in search of the monster responsible for the massacre. Piloting my customized Mecha, I began shooting my way through wave upon wave of enemy mobile suits. After hours of intense fighting, I locked on to my nemesis: a violet - colored machine with blue stripes and an 'X' shaped symbol tattooed across his chest. Anger and bitterness began to form inside of me as I pushed the thrusters and dashed toward the enemy leader at max speed. As Mecha and I grow closer to our destined fight, memories of my fallen comrades began to flash through my head like a shooting star. He locks onto me with his scanners and takes aim at my mobile suit; bracing for the fight of my life, I transform Mecha and switch to offense.

"I've finally found you, you bastard," I growled, wrath curling inside me.

With a war cry, I raised my beam saber up ready to deliver a blow, all the while shouting in a mixture of sorrow and rage: "Go back to the darkness!"

Over the summer, I've been getting back into the Gundam genre and this came to mind after seeing the Zeta Gundam finale. In this scene I am piloting my gundam (mecha) and preparing for my final fight. During the struggle, memories of all my DA (female) friends flash before my mind and this only strengthens my resolve to end the fighting and avenge my fallen comrade. The reason I drew this was because I felt like showing respect to all my female DA friends who I have been around over the years. The picture symbolize how, no matter how far you are, you're still guiding me and are always by my side (I also don't mean to offend you all because of my art; sorry if I do ).
